Guide to Paralogue 21 in Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation. Learn how to recruit Soleil, defend the Walled Town, and defeat all enemies for great rewards.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Move Laslow, preferably on horseback or wyvern-back, towards the center of the map to talk to Soleil and recruit her.
  2. 2
Ferry Laslow to Soleil quickly, as she is an AI character until recruited.
  3. 3
Move the rest of your army towards the center to defend the town and its green Lancer guards.
  4. 4
Use ranged units to snipe Berserkers over the wall if desired.
  5. 5
Begin placing beefy units and movable rubble piles to block enemy paths and defend the green Lancers, especially starting on Turn 4.
  6. 6
    Be prepared for reinforcements:
  7. 7
Turn 4: Two Sorcerers (upper west), two Heroes (left southern route).
  8. 8
Turn 5: Two Berserkers (left northern route), two Berserkers (upper east).
  9. 9
Turn 6: Two Sorcerers (lower west), two Heroes (right southern route).
  10. 10
Turn 7: Two Heroes (north), one Sorcerer (east).
  11. 11
Around Turn 8, Dark Knights and Bow Knights will begin to advance.
  12. 12
Consider using two healers, one for the south and one for the northwest, or lure these units early to seize routes.
  13. 13
Around Turn 10, Zhara will advance. Defeat him and any remaining enemies to clear the map.
  14. 14
If overwhelmed, use rubble to block Zhara's paths, forcing ranged attacks and buying time.
Tips
  • Movable rubble can be picked up using the Grab command when adjacent to it. The character must have an empty inventory slot.
  • Rubble can be traded between characters.
  • To place rubble, select Set and then an adjacent empty tile.
  • Grabbing and setting rubble uses the character's entire turn.
  • There are three piles of rubble available.
  • The green Lancers can hold their own for a couple of turns against initial enemy advances.
  • Having two healers can be very helpful for managing damage from advancing enemies.
  • Pre-emptively luring Dark Knights or Bow Knights can allow you to seize routes and snipe later reinforcements.
