You'll start in the Sanctuary in a Deeprealm. Your main objective is to defeat the boss, but the real priority is reaching Dwyer, Jakob's son, who is all the way across the map.

Dwyer is protected by his own miniature army, mostly composed of Generals. The good news is that these Generals' levels scale with yours, so they're a decent challenge but not impossible.
