Learn how to recruit Dwyer and defeat the boss in Paralogue 4: Fight or Flight in Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation. This guide covers enemy positions and strategies.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
You'll start in the Sanctuary in a Deeprealm. Your main objective is to defeat the boss, but the real priority is reaching Dwyer, Jakob's son, who is all the way across the map.
  2. 2
Dwyer is protected by his own miniature army, mostly composed of Generals. The good news is that these Generals' levels scale with yours, so they're a decent challenge but not impossible. However, Dwyer himself can't fight and only heals, meaning he's very vulnerable. You need to get to him quickly!
  3. 3
The map is littered with doors. Opening them up can speed up your advance, but be careful. If a unit charges ahead to open a door, make sure other units are positioned to immediately engage any enemies that rush out from behind it. You don't want your door-opener getting swarmed.
  4. 4
Keep an eye out for a small triangle of bow-users in the southwest corner. If you're using flying units, try to keep them away from this area as they'll be very vulnerable.
  5. 5
Don't forget to send a couple of units up to the northwest. There are some enemies lurking there that are easy to overlook if you're focused on the main path.
  6. 6
Dwyer will join your army permanently once you complete this Paralogue.
Tips
  • Since Dwyer's army is mostly Generals, units with high defense or those that can bypass defenses (like fliers or cavalry) will be very effective.
  • Prioritize reaching Dwyer quickly. If he falls, you'll likely have to restart the paralogue.
  • Be mindful of enemy placement when opening doors. Always have a follow-up unit ready to defend the unit that opens the door.
  • The Generals can be tough, so use your strongest units to engage them. Consider using Pair Up to boost your stats.
  • Remember to sweep the northwest and southwest corners to ensure you don't miss any enemies or objectives.
  • Recruit Dwyer
  • Experience and potential item drops from defeated enemies.
