Disguises: In most missions, you will need a disguise to access restricted areas and get close to your target. This is typically achieved by killing or knocking out an NPC (non-player character) and taking their clothes. As long as you don't act suspiciously, you will be perceived as someone who belongs, like a guard, and can move freely.

Disguise Compromise: If other guards discover the body of an NPC whose clothes you've taken, your disguise will be compromised, and you will be attacked on sight unless you change into another outfit before being seen.

Drawn Weapons: Sometimes you will see guards with their weapons drawn. You can adopt a similar stance, but only if the weapon you draw is similar to what other guards are carrying.

Closets: Large closets can be found in many missions. You can hide inside them while waiting for specific events, such as a target returning to a room. However, if you are seen entering a closet, you will be automatically attacked. Closets offer no protection from gunfire, making you vulnerable. If your cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) is blown and you hide in a closet, guards will eventually find and shoot you unless you manage to lose them first.

Elevators: Elevators can be used in some missions. Each elevator has an open hatch on the ceiling that you can climb through to access the top of the elevator. The top of the elevator serves as a good hiding spot and allows you to strangle an NPC from above. Equip your Fiber Wire and stand at the edge of the hatch. When a victim is directly below, you will get a prompt to strangle them. Strangling an NPC through the hatch will also pull their body onto the elevator roof, making it easy to hide.

Climbing and Jumping: To reach different areas, you may need to climb ladders and trellises. Approach one and push up to climb up or pull back to climb down. You may also need to jump across gaps; approach the railing and move forward to jump. You can also enter through open windows by approaching them and moving forward.

Weapon Boxes: Weapon boxes are locations where you can find additional weapons. If a guard finds a weapon on the ground, they will pick it up and take it to the nearest weapon box to deposit it, causing your threat meter (a visual indicator of how suspicious you are) to turn green. The guard will then return to their patrol pattern, and your threat meter will decrease.

Weapon Dropping Lure: This method, known as Weapon Dropping, is effective for luring a guard away from an area. It is more effective than using a coin because it can make the guard move much farther away. You can also use this to lure a guard to a secluded weapon box to attack and eliminate them. When the guard bends down to place the weapon in the box, you can quickly draw your weapon and attack. This method only works on guards, not targets or civilians.

Weapon Box Glitches: If there are weapons already inside a weapon box, the guard will stand to the *right* of the box when depositing a weapon, appearing to place it on the floor. If an object is to the right of the box, the guard will stand elsewhere nearby, usually to the left. To prevent this, empty the weapon box entirely. This ensures the guard stands in the correct position when depositing a weapon.

Multiple Guards at Weapon Boxes: If you knock out the first guard and lure a second guard to the same box, the second guard will *always* stand to the right of the box, regardless of whether it's empty. If you knock out the second guard and lure a third guard to the same box, that guard will *always* stand to the *left* of the box.

Other Items for Weapon Boxes: Guards will also take suitcases, briefcases, and rifle cases to weapon boxes if found.
