Guide to executing Sergio Morello Jr. in Mafia: The Old Country. Learn the plan, get weapons from Vincenzo, and make your getaway.

Alright, so we're diving into Part 84 of our Mafia: The Old Country journey. This one's a biggie – taking down Sergio Morello Jr., the guy controlling the unions. Salieri wants him gone to cripple Morello's income, and Paulie's cooked up a plan.

The Plan: Paulie figures Sergio hangs out at the Italian Garden restaurant. The idea is for you, Tommy, to call the restaurant from a nearby phone booth. While you're on the line, Paulie will be waiting outside the restaurant with his Thompson to take Sergio out. Then, it's a quick getaway.

Before you head out, you can chat with Salieri or Luigi back at the bar. Salieri will warn you that Sergio is a real piece of work – a maniac who likes to make people suffer. Luigi will ask about Sarah and your kid, just a little flavor text to keep things grounded.

Gearing Up: Head to Vincenzo's workshop with Paulie. You'll already have your trusty Colt Detective Special. Vincenzo will hook you up with a Thompson 1928 for Paulie and a Colt 1911 for you. After that, Paulie wants a car, so you'll head over to Ralphy. He's got a new Guardian Terraplane Fordor that he'll show you how to hotwire. This is handy because you'll need a fast car for the escape later.

The Hit: Drive Paulie to the Italian Garden restaurant. It's located in Little Italy, on the south side of the block marked by the 'y' in the neighborhood name on the map. Paulie will tell you to park near a phone booth across the street. He'll get out to take position, and you need to head to the phone booth.

Once you're in the booth, make the call and ask for Mr. Morello. As soon as you hear someone pick up the phone inside the restaurant, give Paulie the signal. Paulie will open fire, but here's where things go sideways: the guy he shoots isn't Sergio, it's just a gangster answering the phone. You'll realize Sergio isn't even there today.

The Getaway: With the plan blown and gangsters likely on your tail, you need to get back in the car and drive Paulie away. Use the same evasive driving tactics you learned in 'An Offer You Can't Refuse' to lose any pursuing cars. Once you've shaken them, drive Paulie back to Salieri's Bar. Park in the back lot – the car will be repaired for the next mission. You'll find the Guardian Terraplane Fordor Black has been added to your garage.

Aftermath: Back at Vincenzo's office, Salieri will tell you not to worry about the botched hit. He's already got another plan brewing.
