Sniper Archetype

Learn how to unlock the Sniper Archetype in Metaphor: ReFantazio, including its requirements, skills, and synthesis skills. Master the back row with Pierce damage.

The Sniper Archetype in Metaphor: ReFantazio is unlocked by reaching Rank 3 with Neuras’ bond during the evening on the Gauntlet Runner after handing over the second relic. You will also need 10,000 MAG, have the Gunner Archetype ranked to 20, and the Seeker Archetype ranked to 10.

Sniper Skills

• Comeback Victory — [Hero Passive] Recovers HP each time an enemy is stunned or defeated in overworld combat.
• Myriad Shots — Only usable from back row. Deals medium physical Pierce damage to all enemies 3-5 times. (14 MP)
• Wild Salvo — Only usable from back row. Deals weak physical Pierce damage to all enemies 2-3 times. (24 MP)
• Pierce Dodge — [Passive] Increases Evasion against Pierce attacks.
• Harvest — [Passive] Recovers HP after defeating an enemy.
• Smashing Salvo — Deals medium physical Pierce damage to one enemy. Lowers their Defence for 3 turns. (18 MP)

Sniper Synthesis Skills

• Myriad Shots — Only usable from back row. Deals medium physical Pierce damage to all enemies 3-5 times. (22 MP) Allies needed: Gunner, [Faker, or Summoner Lineages]
• Bullet Barrage — Only usable from back row. Deals severe physical Pierce damage to one enemy. (22 MP) Allies needed: [Knight, Healer, or Commander Lineages]
• Mania Bullet — Only usable from back row. Heavy phys. Pierce damage to one enemy. Inflicts a 1-time weakness to Slash/Pierce/Strike. (22 MP) Allies needed: [Thief, Faker, or Merchant Lineages]
