Kadablich Boss Guide

Struggling with the Kadablich boss fight in Metaphor: ReFantazio? Get the best strategies, understand its attacks, and learn its weaknesses to emerge victorious.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Kadablich: Weak to Light. Repels physical attacks.
• Skeletons (x3): Level 19. Weak to Strike and Light. Do not use Lightning.

Phases:

1. The Kadablich will start the battle accompanied by three Level 19 skeletons.
2. Once the skeletons are defeated, the Kadablich will act once per turn (unless a party member is weak to Dark).

Strategy:

• The first priority is to defeat the three accompanying skeletons. They are relatively weak, so focus your attacks on them. Use Strike and Light elements, and avoid Lightning.
• Once the skeletons are gone, focus your attention on the Kadablich. Remember that it repels all physical attacks, which will damage your characters and waste your turn. Concentrate on using Light-based attacks, as these will grant you extra Turn Icons.
• Be wary of Kadablich's 'Curse Chant' attack. This will inflict the Hex status ailment on your party, making you more vulnerable to Dark attacks and causing you to take half the damage you deal back as damage to yourself. If Hex is inflicted, heal it immediately.
• Kadablich has two Dark magic attacks: 'Mamudo' (weak, party-wide) and 'Mudoon' (medium, single target). While these can be dangerous, they shouldn't be too problematic unless your party is already suffering from Hex.
• 'Life Steal' is another attack to watch out for, as it drains health from a single character and heals the boss. However, Kadablich doesn't use this attack frequently enough to be a major concern.
• Since Kadablich is weak to Light, using Light-based attacks is highly recommended. They deal increased damage and provide bonus Turn Icons, helping you act more often.
