Learn how to use Honey Trees in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl to catch rare Pokémon like Heracross and Munchlax. Find all 21 Honey Tree locations and discover which Pokémon can appear.

Honey Trees are a feature in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, similar to the Headbutt mechanic in previous games, allowing players to catch specific Pokémon. Four Pokémon can only be obtained through Honey Trees.

How to Use Honey Trees:

1. Obtain Honey: Honey can be purchased for 100 Pokédollars (p) each in Floaroma Meadow. It cannot be bought in bulk. Alternatively, a Combee with the Honey Gather ability can find Honey after battles.
2. Find a Honey Tree: There are 21 Honey Trees located throughout Sinnoh.

• Route 206 (1 tree)
• Route 207 (1 tree)
• Route 208 (1 tree)
• Route 209 (1 tree)
• Route 210 (2 trees)
• Route 211 (1 tree)
• Route 212 (2 trees)
• Route 213 (1 tree)
• Route 214 (1 tree)
• Route 215 (1 tree)
• Route 218 (1 tree)
• Route 221 (1 tree)
• Route 222 (1 tree)
• Floaroma Meadow (1 tree)
• Near the Valley Windworks (1 tree)
• Near the Fuego Ironworks (1 tree)
• Near Eterna Forest (1 tree)

Honey Trees are not found on snowy routes, early routes before Floaroma Meadow, water routes, the Battle Area, or areas around the Pokémon League.

Applying Honey and Waiting:

1. Apply Honey: Go to a Honey Tree and press 'A' to put Honey on it. This action can be repeated but doesn't significantly change the outcome.
2. Wait: It takes approximately 8-12 hours for a Pokémon to appear at the tree.

Encounterable Pokémon:

Wurmple, Silcoon, and Cascoon can be found elsewhere, while Aipom, Cherubi, Heracross, and Munchlax are exclusive to Honey Trees.
