Alright, so you're heading to the Valley Windworks! It's not just about the Team Galactic Grunt here; this place is actually a pretty decent spot to catch some new Pokémon you might not have seen yet. Keep an eye out for Buizel, Shellos (its evolution is super useful later, especially if you didn't pick Piplup!), and Pachirisu. Shinx is also around if you need an Electric-type.
When you're ready to deal with the Team Galactic situation, you'll have to face a Grunt. He's got a Glameow at level 13. Honestly, it's only slightly tougher than in previous games. Just hit it with any strong attack you have, maybe a Rock Smash if you've got one, and you should be good to go. Pretty much anything will take it down easily.
After you beat him, he'll run off into the Windworks building. That's your cue to follow him inside!
