Learn the strategy for Battle Bingo in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. Discover how to form Bingo lines, manage Entry Points (EP), and utilize Master Balls to win.
Walkthrough
- 1The game is played on a 4x4 Bingo Card with 16 panels.
- 2Flip panels one by one. Form a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal line to score a Bingo.
- 3Continue forming Bingo lines until all panels are flipped or you run out of moves.
- 4If all 16 panels are flipped, 10 Bingo lines are completed, and you win.
- 5Start with one Pokemon and two Master Balls. Your Pokemon have Entry Points (EP).
- 6Flipping a panel costs 1 EP. If all your Pokemon exhaust their EP, it's game over.
- 7On the first turn, you can flip any of the 16 panels.
- 8Subsequent panels must be adjacent to an already flipped panel. Plan your sequence.
- 9There are two types of panels: Pokemon type and question mark (?).
- 10Flipping a Pokemon type panel triggers a one-on-one battle.
- 11Win the battle or catch the opposing Pokemon with a Master Ball to flip the panel.
- 12If you catch the opposing Pokemon, you can use it for future panel battles.
- 13Flipping a "?" panel costs 1 EP and may reveal EP or Master Balls.
- 14Completing a Bingo line awards 1 EP.
- 15Quitting before the end awards Poke Coupons based on Bingo lines made.
- 16Completing the card awards a bonus for leftover EP and Master Balls, plus the regular prize.
- 17If all Pokemon run out of EP, you lose and receive no Poke Coupons.
- 18After returning Bonsly, you receive the Bonsly Card to use Bonsly in Battle Bingo.
Tips
- Plan your panel flips ahead to maximize Bingo lines.
- Prioritize catching Pokemon if you need more allies for battles.
- Conserve EP by flipping "?" panels when possible.
- Poke Coupons (if quitting early)
- Bonus prize for completing the card (includes leftover EP and Master Balls)
- 1 EP for each Bingo line scored
