First up is the Rock Poke Spot. You'll meet an OBNS reporter named Pofty here, who's talking about how Duking is making wild Pokémon super popular in Pyrite Town. Duking himself will explain the whole process of getting Pokémon to show up at a Poke Spot and asks for your help to show how it's done.

Here’s the basic rundown on how to catch wild Pokémon:

1. You'll need Poke Snacks. Don't worry, Duking hooks you up with 10 to start.
2. Just lay those Poke Snacks on the plate that's nearby.
3. Then, you gotta leave the Poke Spot.
4. Eventually, a wild Pokémon will wander in to check out the snacks.

The more Poke Snacks you put out, the longer a Pokémon will stick around, making your catch attempt way easier. You'll also get a handy tool called the Spot Monitor. Duking gives you one as a thank you for helping him out. This thing alerts you whenever a wild Pokémon shows up at any Poke Spot, no matter where you are. Pretty neat, huh?

After the Rock Poke Spot demo, Duking reveals he's found two more spots and marks the second one, Oasis Poke Spot, on your map. At Oasis, he mentions he's having a tough time catching a few specific Pokémon: Trapinch, Surskit, and Wooper. If you manage to snag these for him, he's willing to trade you some interesting Pokémon:

• Catch a Trapinch for a Level 20 Meditite.
• Catch a Surskit for a Level 20 Shuckle.
• Catch a Wooper for a Level 20 Larvitar.
