KAMINKO'S HOUSE (Exterior)

Upon arriving outside Dr. Kaminko's House, approach the building.

You will be confronted by Kaminko's assistant Chobin, who mistakes you for a burglar and battles you.

After winning the battle against Chobin, he realizes you are not a burglar and apologizes.

Jovi appears and asks if you got lost. Enter the manor and speak with Jovi.

You can obtain Battle CDs 49 and 50 here after destroying the Cipher Key Lair.

After Jovi "joins" your party, leave the manor and you will receive an e-mail from Prof. Krane asking for your help.

Return to HQ Lab.

As you return to HQ, Jovi "leaves" your party, and Lily advises you to see Prof. Krane immediately.

Prof. Krane is not in the Lab, so head upstairs and speak with a man wearing a white hat and blue shirt in the Director's Office.

He informs you that Krane went downstairs a little while ago. Return to the first floor and talk to him.

Prof. Krane explains that the scientists have completed their latest invention, the Snag Machine.

He details that Shadow Pokémon are victims of criminals and the Snag Machine, developed by Cipher five years ago, is the most effective means of taking them from criminals. He notes that while stealing another Trainer's Pokémon is unforgivable, it is necessary to save Shadow Pokémon. The Aura Reader's development made a workable new Snag Machine possible, and it can warn and prevent the Snag Machine from working on regular, non-Shadow Pokémon.

After you equip the Snag Machine, Aidan will add a Shadow Monitor to your P*DA (a device that lets you check data on all Shadow Pokémon encountered).

Aidan also gives you 5 Poke Balls.

Suddenly, some strange men, members of Cipher, barge in and kidnap Prof. Krane off-screen.
