Cheats:

GOD - Makes you invincible.
NOTARGET - Makes monsters oblivious to you unless you shoot at them.
FLY - Lets you fly through the levels.
NOCLIP - Lets you walk through walls, useful for finding secrets. Use the [D] and [C] keys to move up and down.
IMPULSE 9 - Grants all weapons (including the thunderbolt, which is in the shareware version!) and full ammo.
IMPULSE 255 - Grants Quad Damage upgrade.
GIVE # - Gives you weapon #.
GIVE H # - Gives you # of health.
GIVE S # - Gives you # of shells.
GIVE R # - Gives you # of rockets.
GIVE C # - Gives you # of cells.
GIVE N # - Gives you # of nails.

Tips

Remember to use the console by pressing the [~] key to input these commands.
The NOCLIP cheat is particularly useful for discovering hidden areas and secrets within Quake's levels.
