Collecting Rare Items

Discover the locations of all nine Rare Items in Rogue Company. Learn how to obtain each unique item and the rewards for completing your collection.

According to MIO, there are nine Rare Items scattered across the galaxy. You can learn where to look for Rare Items by talking to people with blue bubbles above them. Listen to what they say, review the conversation in the Info Edge, and search for the items. When you find one, it will be shown on the SP tab in the Items menu. As you collect Rare Items, you can actually see them displayed in the Captain's room aboard the Dorgenark.

Find all nine Rare Items and MIO will give you a Zero-G Suit for Simon.

1. Luvanda Blade - Chapter 11
   A beautiful, artistic sword. Its engravings date back to the era of the Star King.
   Teleport to Rosa: Ancient Ruins: Near the Tunnel. Head west toward the ruins but follow the south wall outside. Talk to Muskul outside the ruins. Then teleport to Rosa: Labyrinth Near the Core. Go into the Boss chamber and head east near the north wall. Talk to the Strange Animal and receive the Luvanda Blade.
2. Shiska's Necklace - Chapter 10
   A necklace with a clear jewel. Carrying it makes you wistful for some reason.
   After completing all of the events at Johannasburg, talk to Rydel outside a building on the west side of the Johannasburg plaza. Talk to him several times until you receive a notice that information has been added to the Info Edge. In the area where Johanna's house is, look for a flower pot outside the north corner of the other building. The Necklace is inside the flower pot.
3. Lepognon Mammoth Tusk - Chapter 9
   A bone from the biggest, strongest mammoth ever, said to have gone extinct 1000 years ago.
   To find this Rare Item, you must first defeat The Tower Predator Quarry. On Planet Zerard, teleport to Gladius Towers: 2nd Tower - 7F and head back to the bridge between towers. Talk to Watclos in the bridge room. Then teleport to the Galaxy Corporation. Leave through the north exit and talk to Linda behind a pillar on the Gladius Towers walkway just outside the Galaxy Corporation. Teleport to Rosencaster Prison: Interior Pathway A3 - Waste Area and enter the Waste Area. Examine the head of the Salamander corpse to obtain the Lepognon Mammoth Tusk.
4. Mirror of Truth - Chapter 8
   Its straight, unadorned statements are like words from heaven.
   Teleport to Vedan: Depot and go to the far southwest corner of the train boarding area. Talk to Gyzer. Then switch to controlling a different party member and talk to him again. Switch to the third battle party member and talk to him with that character. Swap allies into and out of the battle party until you have controlled and spoken to Gyzer with all eight characters. Switch back to Jaster and talk to him one more time to obtain the Mirror.
5. The Annals of Hades - Chapter 7
   AKA "The Hades Chronicle." A history book written in mysterious ancient lettering.
   Buy The Annals of Hades from the Myna Item Shop on Vedan. (Requires Platinum License)
6. Character Mug - Chapter 7
   This doll's smile is said to be a sign of the apocalypse. Its lips are beginning to curl up.
   Teleport to Zerard: Near the Insectron Stadium. Head west and just before you reach the tunnel to Main Street, talk to Oakton. Teleport to the Starship Factory: Near the Entrance and talk to Louick in the plaza outside the Factory. Then teleport to the Starship Factory: Near Pocacchio's Lab. Enter the lab and examine a cardboard box in the northeast corner of the room to obtain the Character Mug.
   If you talk to Ikarot outside the lab after finding the Mug, he will buy your silence with a Perfect Elixir.
7. Arbin's Chalice - Chapter 8
   The grail of the dark elves that flourished long ago. Could once turn any liquid into wine.
   After completing The Rumored Ladyhunter Quarry hunt, travel to Juraika and teleport to Burkaqua Village. On the Path to Burkaqua, just outside the Village, talk to Souie. Teleport to Path to Burqua: Near the Spring. Make your party Jaster, Kisala and Lilika, and change their attire:
   - Jaster - Jungle Coat
   - Kisala - Tribal Two-Piece
   - Lilika - Warrior's Clothes
   In the southern part of the Spring area, talk to Balmon and she will give you Arbin's Chalice.
8. Rakshasa Heart - Chapter 8
   A heart-shaped crystal. Put your ear to it to hear a strange rhythm.
   After the opening event at the Cancer King's Ruins entrance, talk to Minty in the Myna Scrap Yard. Head back into Myna and travel east from the Item Shop. Look for a trash can on the south side of the street. Examine the trash can to get the Heart.
9. Maid Robot Betty - Chapter 7
   A helper robot, as you'd expect. Despite her looks, she's pretty popular among robot fans.
   Teleport to Zerard: Starship Factory: Near the Entrance. Enter the Factory and go into the first pathway. Talk to Louin to obtain the Blueprint for the Mechanical Oddjobber. You will need to make Maid Robot Betty in the Factory, but you won't be able to get all the materials until later.
