The passage to Ti'atha Forest is narrow and winding. When you reach the clearing, go up the hill to the north. A treasure chest beside a rock has a Guardian Sphere inside. At the base of a tree on the south side of the clearing is a chest that contains Myriad Branch x2. The path east narrows as it leaves the clearing. When it begins to widen again look to the north for a chest. Disarm the chest's Cursed Trap to collect the Tri-Elixir x3. At the base of a large tree up the hill to the east is a chest with Stella Crystal x3. Beside another large tree to the south is a chest with a Mermaid's Scale. Continue south and you will reach a stream. A treasure chest on the bank has a Firestone inside.
Follow the north bank of the stream west and you will meet Palao. He had a dream about an evil sword, a sword of judgment and a toad. After speaking with him, check "The Sword of Nightmares 1" entry in the Info Edge. You can make a new sword by combining a Demon Rouser with a Majestic Halo. The result is the Seven-Star Sword, Duke Nightmare.
Cross the stream and check the base of the large tree by the waterfall. This chest is actually a Mimic. Another stream lies to the southeast. Follow the west bank of the stream to the base of a large tree and a chest that contains a Lucky Clover. Cross this stream and Save your game at the Transporter on the other side.
Follow the path due east and you will come to a chest beside a rock at the base of a tree. Open the chest to get a Tengu Cross DX shuriken for Zegram. Skirt the pond to the north by going around the east side (or just swim across).
In the area beyond, you will see a Thinking Circle. Stand in the Thinking Circle to summon the Quarry: The Fallen Monarch.
Also in this area is a peddler selling a few recovery items and some top-tier shields. It also sells some materials, including the rare Rose of Passion in very limited quantity.
Swim across the second pond and head east. Climb the sloping hill on the south side that goes back toward the pond. A treasure chest at the top contains Smoked Rainbow Newt x2. Head east from the pond. When the path turns south, you will find a chest at the base of a tree near the east boundary. Inside is a Captain's Sock. Continue south and Save your game at the Endpoint Transporter. The chest near the Transporter is really a Mimic.
From here, the path continues south and then turns east. As you move east, watch for a small recessed area north of the path. There is a treasure chest nearly obscured by the grass. Disarm the Thief's Trap on the chest to get the Ancient Scroll III inside. Keep going east and you will find the path partially blocked by a huge fallen tree. There is a Trumpet of Glory in a chest beside the fallen tree. Move around the end of the fallen tree into an area with a Transporter. The chest near the Transporter holds Hot Breath x5.
At the Transporter Near the Plaza, prepare your party and Save your game. The narrow pass to the south leads to a scene and a battle.

Beast Albioth uses a sweeping bite attack that can Daze you. Ice Breath can Daze you and inflict Frozen status as well. It also can take to the air and perform a tornado attack with its wings that will Confuse you. It may go leaping across the field, bowling you over for damage and making you chase it.
You can only damage Beast Albioth by attacking its head from in front. As it moves around, you will find it difficult to maintain a position where you can attack effectively. Use Illusion Sword enhanced by other characters' party attack-boosting abilities. You may only get a few attacks in at a time before you have to change position or heal an ally. When Beast Albioth takes to the air, attack quickly to try to bring it back down to the ground and prevent its tornado attack.
Stay aware of party status and immediately use a Relaxing Aroma when someone becomes Confused. Use a Hot Breath to cure Frozen status.
