Planet Rosa - Johannasburg

As you enter the illusory oasis that is Johannasburg, you will see a couple of chests at the base of a windmill. Collect the Edensia x2 and Lucky Clover, then head in the direction of the Next Episode marker in the town plaza for a scene.

When the scene ends, you are inside the village elder's house. Open two chests there to obtain the Sun Key and CO2 Powder x2. On the ground outside the elder's place is a chest with a Cursed Trap. It contains a Storm Shield. A chest inside the house north of the elder's holds a Lunar Ribbon.

A peddler roaming the plaza sells all kinds of recovery items. He also sells Ancient Scroll III. Like the other Ancient Scrolls, you can find an Ancient Scroll III in a treasure chest for each party member. You don't need to buy any.

At the base of a tree near the monument in the plaza is a chest that is really a Mimic. A chest near the wall of the building to the west contains some Izerium Alloy. Follow the fence posts south to find another chest near the ditch. This one has a Sunstalker Bow. At the base of a tree by the bridge across the southern stream is a chest with Ultraspicy Pepper x2.

The Thinking Circle near the monument in the center of town is where you can find the Quarry: The Winged Traveler.

Cross the bridge over the small stream and go through the narrow pass in the southern part of the plaza. There is another Transporter in this south part of Johannasburg.

The Transporter at Johannasburg: In Town is the last Transporter on Rosa. If you have activated all the Transporters so far, activating this one will complete the Rosa map and all area maps will display the locations of any treasure chests you missed.

Up the hill west of the Transporter, a chest holds an Ancient Scroll III. There are two buildings in this small area. Beside the stairs to the house at the south end are two chests. Open them to get Perfect Heal x3 and a Trumpet of Glory.

Enter the house and you will initiate a scene that leads to a battle.

Johanna Boss Fight

• HP: Johanna: 19510, Duplicates: 3500

• Special: Johanna hovers and moves, hurling fireballs or using a sweeping laser. She can call down lightning. She creates four magical duplicates who use the same attacks. Duplicates disappear after a while but she will create more.
• EXP: 6500

• Item Drop: Sealing Sunsphere, Lucky Clover, Perfect Reviver

Jaster must face Johanna alone. Watch your health and use healing items if your HP falls below half. Use Illusion Sword to attack from a distance and a Strength Star to increase its power. If you are on the move, fireballs and laser attacks will strike where you were instead of where you are. Keep circling the enemy party and stop to attack just after the enemies attack, then circle again. When duplicates are present, focus attacks on Johanna and try to ignore them. After a scene, resume the defensive strategy to defeat Johanna.

Watch the scenes after the battle and you will regain control in the Kuje Desert. Return to Johanna's house to retrieve a couple of items inside. One chest in Johanna's house contains a Lunar Ribbon. The other has the Star Traveler's Outfit for Lilika.

Rare Item

While you are in Johannasburg, you can obtain a new Rare Item. Look for Rydel on the west side of the Johannasburg plaza to begin your search for Shiska's Necklace.

Seven-Star Sword

Teleport to Salgin: Near the Church and talk to Ulbor outside the church. Then look inside the church for a new treasure chest. Open it with the Star Key to obtain the Seven-Star Sword, Pride of Kings.

Sun Key Treasure Chests

Now that you have the Sun Key, you can open some chests that you had to leave behind in other places.

• Rosa: Lucky Clover in the residence south of that dead end near the church in Salgin
• Juraika: Nebula Opal in the plaza east of the Path to the Ruins: Endpoint Transporter
• Zerard: Lab Coat (Jupis) inside Dr. Pocacchio's Lab in the Starship Factory, Trumpet of Glory in Gladius Towers east of 3F bridge (teleport to 2nd Tower: 2F and use the elevator there)
• Vedan: Dark Onyx in Myna south of the entrance to the Scrap Yard, Moebius Battery in Cancer King's Ruins: Area 3 - Near Altar
• Alistia: Lucky Clover x2 in the elevated hut in Lapatia Village, Mermaid's Scale
