Learn how to master weapon synthesis in Rogue Company. Combine weapons and stat-enhancing stones to create powerful gear and gain an edge in battle.
Weapon synthesis in Rogue Company allows you to create more powerful weapons by combining two weapons of the same type or by combining a weapon with a stat-enhancing stone. This process can yield stronger weapons earlier than purchasing them.
Requirements for Synthesis:
- Both weapons must be of the same type.
- Both weapons must be 'seasoned' or matured through use. This means their Skills bar must be filled to MAX, which typically takes about 15 battles per weapon.
Mastering Weapons:
After a weapon's Skills level reaches MAX, a random elemental stat increases by 1 after each subsequent battle until all elemental stats are at their limit. A 'Mastered' weapon cannot be improved further. Note that a weapon's Attack Power does not increase through use; it must be bought or synthesized.
The Synthesis Master - Toady:
During a mandatory event in Chapter 2, you will meet Toady, the synthesis master. He resides in your Item inventory and can be selected to analyze weapons and recommend combinations. Toady also performs the synthesis process for you. Select him from the Item list, choose 'Combine,' pick your first weapon, and then select the second weapon to combine.
The resulting synthesized weapon is usually stronger than the originals and inherits a portion of their elemental stats, often resulting in higher elemental stats than shop-bought equivalents.
Synthesizing with Stat-Enhancing Stones:
In addition to combining weapons, you can synthesize weapons with specific stones:
- Hyper Crystal: Adds 10 to the weapon's highest elemental stat.
- Omega Star: Adds 10 to the weapon's lowest elemental stat.
- Excelion Shard: Adds 5 to each of the weapon's elemental stats.
Synthesizing a stone will not increase a stat beyond the weapon's maximum limit.
