Alright, let's talk about the Coal Trucks. This spot is north of the Fishing Guild and west of McGrubor's Wood. It's a pretty efficient place to mine coal, with 18 coal rocks and 2 carts. Here's the deal with the carts: if you haven't done any Kandarin achievement diaries, they hold 120 coal. But if you've completed the easy, medium, or hard diaries, that number goes up to 140, 280, or even 308 coal, respectively. And if you're really going for it and have finished the elite Kandarin diary, the first 200 coal you mine will automatically bank for you! There's also a little exploit where you can sneak in an extra 27 coal if you fill the trucks almost completely, then dump a full inventory. Once you've got your coal, the closest place to bank it is in Seers' Village, in that building with the mining symbol. You can also use the log balance shortcut just east of the trucks if you have level 20 Agility to get over to McGrubor's Wood faster. If you're using that shortcut, I'd recommend having 30+ Agility, just to be safe, and maybe run a bit to save run energy. For your mining runs, here's a good loop: MINE -> STORAGE -> BANK -> STORAGE. Repeat that until your inventory is empty, then head back to the mine. Wearing gear that reduces weight can really help here. If you're into the Superheat Item spell, there's an anvil nearby that's perfect for smithing your coal. Otherwise, you can just sell it. While you're mining, try to walk around a bit to keep your run energy up for the trips back to storage. Grabbing a few energy potions or mint cakes wouldn't hurt either. Quick heads-up: there are aggressive Giant bats (level 27) hanging around here, along with some Dwarven guards (level 10). So, if your combat level is on the lower side, you might want to be careful or bring some protection.
