It's a bit of a unique one, and you'll need to help a worried woman named Caroline find her missing family members. ### Quest Details * Name: Sea Slug * Release Date: 9 September 2002 * Pay-to-play: Yes * Starts with: Caroline, east of Ardougne. * Difficulty: 2/5 stars * Length: Short * Requirements: Level 30 Firemaking * Items needed: Swamp paste (made from swamp tar and flour) * Monsters to defeat: None ### Walkthrough First off, head east of Ardougne to find Caroline. She's worried about her husband, Kent, and son, Kennith. She'll ask you to find them. Your next step is to find Holgart. He's the one who can give you a ride, but he needs his Damaged Rowboat fixed. For that, you'll need Swamp paste. The quickest way to get this is to head south to Port Khazard and grab some from the general store. If you're feeling adventurous, you can find Swamp tar in Lumbridge Swamp. Mix that with some Flour, and then cook it over a fire to make your Swamp paste. Once you've got it, give it to Holgart, and he'll get his boat shipshape. Now, hop in the boat with Holgart, and he'll take you to the Fishing Platform. Once you're on the platform, find one of the level 30 Platform Fishermen. You'll need to use the ladder to get to Kennith. Have a chat with him; he'll tell you about his dad. Head back down the ladder and speak to Holgart again. He'll take you to look for Kent. Kent will explain that some sea slugs were pulled up by the fishermen, and they started acting weird. He went to get help but left Kennith behind. Now, he needs you to go back and get Kennith. Talk to Holgart, and he'll ferry you back to the platform. Be careful here! Don't try to climb the ladder right away, or the fishermen will throw you back down and you'll take damage. Find Bailey the cook. He'll give you an unlit torch. You'll also need to grab some broken glass and damp sticks. Combine the glass with the sticks, and then try to light the torch by rubbing the sticks together. This requires your Level 30 Firemaking. If you don't have it, you'll need to train it up first! With your torch lit, climb the ladder. Talk to Kennith again. He's still a bit hesitant to leave the door. You'll need to break the loose panel on the wall near him. After that, talk to Kennith again, and he'll come through the broken panel. Next, head over to the Fishing crane and operate it. Kennith will hop on and be lowered down to Holgart. Go back and speak to Holgart. He'll confirm he's got Kennith safely and will bring you back to land. Finally, return to Caroline.
