| Grail quest

Talk to King Arthur in Camelot Castle (north of Catherby) about Merlin trapped in a crystal.

Speak with Sir Gawain to learn about the Sorceress who trapped Merlin.

Consult Sir Lancelot regarding entry into Morgan Le Faye's stronghold; he will mention a boat.

Head west of the fishing areas to find Arhein's ship.

Stow away on the ship by talking to Arhein. You will arrive where Renegade Knights (level 51) are present.

Ascend the stairs. You may need to fight Renegade Knights or run past them.

At the top, approach the Sir Mordreds standing near strange symbols on the ground. Attack one until it is nearly defeated, which will cause the sorceress to appear.

When the sorceress asks you to stop, agree if she reveals how to free Merlin. She will mention a black candle, magic words, and Excalibur.

Go to the second story of the stronghold. Use the ladder on the west side to descend, exiting the fortress.

Outside, attack a bat or pick up bat bones.

Head to the bank and deposit the bat bones.

Return to the docks where you boarded the ship and retrieve a bucket from a nearby crate.

Go north of the bank to a room with a table; collect the insect repellent.

Travel west to the beehives. Use the insect repellent on them.

Once the bees leave, use your bucket on a hive to collect wax.

Visit the candle maker in the shop next to the bank. Inquire about black candles and give him the bucket of wax.

Bank the black candlestick he provides.

Travel to Taverley and proceed south to the lake. Go to the peninsula in the middle of the lake.

Speak with the Lady of the Lake, who will discuss Excalibur and direct you to the Jewellery shop in Port Sarim.

Before going to Port Sarim, acquire some bread.

Go to the Jewellery shop in Port Sarim. A beggar will ask for bread; give it to him. The beggar will transform into the Lady of the Lake and bestow upon you the magical sword, Excalibur.

Travel north to Varrock.

Enter the wilderness north of Varrock. Bring only 3 items.

Locate an altar surrounded by lava, approximately at level 10-12 wilderness, with its entrance on the north side.

Search the altar to find an inscription.

Return to Camelot with your black candle, bat bones, and Excalibur.

If your black candle is not lit, use a tinderbox to light it.

Go to the symbol under the white overhang northeast of Camelot Castle. Drop your bat bones on this symbol.

A demon will appear. Select the phrase found on the altar inscription: "Snarthon Candtrick Termanto".

Proceed to the east wing of Camelot Castle with Excalibur. Use the ladder, cross to the east side, and ascend the next ladder.

Strike Merlin with Excalibur to break the crystal.

Speak with King Arthur to receive your reward.
