You can't actually craft the bolts themselves from scratch, but you can buy regular bolts and then add some awesome tips to them. Let's break down how to get each type of tip!

First things first, you'll need some Regular Bolts. You can snag these from any Archery shop in the game – they're pretty affordable.

How to Get Bolt Tips

Opal Tipped Bolts

To get your hands on Opal Tipped Bolts, you'll need to have completed the Shilo Village Quest. Once that's done, head over to Shilo Village and start mining gems. Grab some Opal Gems, then use a Chisel on them twice. This will give you two Opal Tips. Finally, use these tips on your Regular Bolts to make them Opal Tipped.

Pearl Tipped Bolts

For Pearl Tipped Bolts, you'll want to do some fishing. Catch some Oysters, and inside each one, you'll find a Pearl. Use a Chisel on the Pearl twice to get two Pearl Tips. Then, just use these tips on your Regular Bolts.

Barbed Tipped Bolts

These are a bit more involved. You'll need to head to the Rangers Guild. Once you're there, start shooting the targets. Keep at it until you've earned 140 Tickets. You can then exchange these tickets for 30 Barb Tips. After you've got the tips, use them on your Regular Bolts to make them Barbed Tipped.
