Navigate the treacherous paths of Wusao Mountain in Titan Quest 2. This guide covers the final main quest, boss strategies for the Telkine and Typhon, and loot locations.
Walkthrough
- 1Return to Chang'An. The previously locked door is now open. Enter the area and proceed NE to the Forest of the Ancients.
- 2Continue through the Forest of the Ancients until you reach a fallen tree trunk bridge. Cross it into the Wusao Barrens.
- 3Head North in the Wusao Barrens towards a portal and a cave entrance. Enter the cave, which is the Wusao Caverns.
- 4Navigate through the Wusao Caverns, following the exit points and stairs until you reach an area with a bridge made of obsidian.
- 5Continue following the single exit until you reach the Obsidian Halls.
- 6In the Obsidian Halls, head North, then SE to find the exit. You will reach a long passage with a rebirth fountain.
- 7Continue East, then South, then NE to find a large broken double door.
- 8Enter the area. You will witness the Telkine release Typhon, who escapes through a portal. Your objective is to defeat the Telkine.
- 9After defeating the Telkine, enter the portal to Olympus.
- 10You will arrive in Lower Olympus, where there is a rebirth fountain. Proceed up the damaged steps.
- 11Battle Minotaurs and Minotaur Lords, then Cyclops Elders as you ascend.
- 12Continue to Olympus Summit to confront Typhon.
Boss Fights:
- The Telkine: This boss uses telekinetic attacks, elemental attacks, and summons Fire sprites. Prioritize killing summoned creatures first. Melee characters need strong armor, while magic users can benefit from area attacks.
- Typhon: Typhon has powerful fire and frost attacks, and summons Frost Liches. High resistance and damage are key for melee. Ranged characters have ample space to maneuver. Utilize the shrines (battle marker, regeneration, experience) on the outer edges for assistance.
Statue Mechanics:
- The four statues of the Gods grant Typhon temporary buffs:
- Hades: Summons Abyssal Liches, Life Suction.
- Demeter: Thorns, Ranged Poison Attack, Stone Hand (immobilizes you).
- Zeus: Ranged Thunder Attack.
- Apollo: Meteors, Energy Suction.
- These statues can be destroyed if Typhon proves too difficult. Each statue's buff lasts for a limited time (around 10-20 seconds) unless Typhon activates another statue's power.
Tips
- Before entering the final area (Obsidian Halls onwards), it is recommended to portal back to Chang'An to re-equip, buy potions, and prepare.
- For the Telkine fight, ranged attackers have limited space, so strong armor is crucial for melee characters. Area attacks are effective for magic users.
- When fighting Typhon, consider using the experience shrine when he is near death for an extra XP boost.
- If you are struggling with Typhon, destroying the God statues can weaken him.
- Upon defeating Typhon, you will complete the TQ single-player quest.
- Experience Rewards:
- Normal: 30000 XP
- Epic: 70000 XP
- Legendary: 300000 XP
