June's Key and the B.A.R.D. Safe Room Guide: Little Teahouse

Start the Lead: Obtain a Metal Detector. This can be purchased from the bartender at Grendel’s Head for a bandage, or found on an Outlaw's corpse by a lake on the southern edge of Slatten Dale (approx. 29.1E, 73.9N), which requires avoiding leeches.

Use the Metal Detector: Go to the Sewer Entrance in the northern part of Slatten Dale (east of Molly’s Trader Camp, southwest of Wyndham Village). Use the Metal Detector on the islands within the sewer entrance area. On a rocky mound with a rusty bike, dig to find the note Farewell, Doctor. This note starts the lead The Little Tea Room.

Search The Little Tea Room: Travel to Wyndham Village and locate The Little Tea Room, a vine-covered white building northeast of the Village Hall, past the Grendel’s Head pub. Enter through a second-story window on the southern side to avoid trespassing detection. Search the area near where you enter to find June’s Key on the ground near a skeleton. Crafting materials can be found downstairs but carry a higher risk.

Unlock June’s Lockbox: Return to the Village Hall in Wyndham Village. In the easternmost room, find the “June’s Lockbox” crate near a desk. Use June’s Key to open it and find the note June’s Errands, which mentions planting flowers near boathouse ruins.

Search the Boathouse: Equip your Metal Detector and go to the northeastern edge of Wyndham Village to find the ruins marked as “The Boathouse”. Search the south/southeastern edge of the ruins, near a rusty green tractor (look southeast). Dig in the cubby between the stone walls (approx. 35.6E, 82.8N) to find the notes Protocol’s Secrets and June’s Diary. Protocol’s Secrets starts a new lead to find a B.A.R.D. safe room in the Protocol Workshop Bunker in Skethermoor.

Find the Protocol Workshop in Skethermoor: Travel to Skethermoor. You can reach it via the southeastern exit of Wyndham Village or through the cellar under the Grendel’s Head pub (this route involves traversing caverns with glowing pillbugs, leeches, and exploding plants). Once in Skethermoor, head east towards the Protocol Workshop entrance, located in a fenced-off area at approximately 38.0E, 77.4N. Be cautious of Protocol patrols and robots.
