P226

The P226 fires at the same rate as the 92FS and has similar damage, but with a longer damage drop-off range, allowing for a three-hit kill out to 15 meters. It has low recoil and a fast reload, but the smallest magazine capacity among these pistols. It was patched in the Criminal Activity update (June 16, 2015) to reduce minimum damage and shorten the damage drop-off range, which was later reverted in the November update with an increase in minimum damage.

Trivia: Made by SIG-Sauer, the P226 was designed for US trials in the mid-80s but lost to the Beretta 92F (M9). It's widely used by military and police worldwide. The Hardline version uses .40 S&W with a 12-round magazine, differing from its BF4 counterpart which used 9mm with a 15-round magazine. The compact P228 model is designated the M11 by the US military.

CZ75

The CZ75 fires slightly slower than other pistols and has high recoil, but compensates with a large magazine size and the fastest reload time in its class.

Trivia: Made by Ceska Zbrojovka of the Czech Republic. Its design dates back to 1975, featuring a double-column magazine for increased capacity. An early variant, the CZ75 Auto, was a machine pistol capable of approximately 1,000 RPM, with a spare magazine usable as a foregrip. This model is featured in CS:GO. CZ also offers deluxe, engraved models.

G17

Unlocks: complete 'Operator Assignment 2' [both factions]

Requirements for Operator Assignment 1: Operator Bronze Service Star 2 (20,000 XP with class), 10 assault rifle kills, 10 heals on team-mates.

Requirements for Operator Assignment 2: Operator Bronze Service Star 7 (70,000 XP with class), Operator Assignment 1 completion, 25 assault rifle kills, 5 Revive Coins (5 revives in one match for each).

The G17 is highly recommended after unlocking. It boasts the largest magazine capacity in its category and a theoretical fire-rate of 900 RPM, matching the full-auto G18, making it exceptionally fast.
