How to Beat Ribby and Croaks: Clip Joint Calamity

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Ribby and Croaks: Weak to rapid-fire attacks. Can be damaged simultaneously with wide-reaching attacks.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Ribby and Croaks face the player, spitting fireballs and jumping. They will occasionally perform a spinning attack.
2. Phase 2: The frogs split up and one jumps off-screen. The remaining frog will shoot a barrage of projectiles. The off-screen frog will then return with a powerful slam attack.
3. Phase 3: Both frogs return, now with enhanced attacks. They will summon smaller frogs that act as projectiles.
4. Phase 4: The frogs combine into a giant, fiery form. They will shoot large fireballs and perform a sweeping laser attack.

Strategy:

• In the first phase, focus on dodging the fireballs and jumping attacks. Use weapons like the Peashooter or Spread to damage both frogs when they are close together.
• When one frog jumps off-screen, focus on the one remaining and be prepared to dodge its projectiles. Anticipate the slam attack from the returning frog.
• The third phase introduces smaller frogs; prioritize destroying them before they can attack. Continue to dodge and weave through the projectiles.
• The final phase is a DPS check. Use your strongest weapons and Super Arts to defeat the combined frog form as quickly as possible. Watch out for the laser attack and parry the pink projectiles if you can.
