If you're looking to spice things up even more, there's a super cool secret mode that gives the game that authentic 1930s cartoon vibe. It's a bit of a spoiler, so if you want to find it all on your own, now's your chance to turn back! But if you're ready to unlock some vintage fun, read on!

The secret mode we're talking about is a black and white filter that makes Cuphead look like a genuine old-timey cartoon. On top of that, it comes with some awesome audio filters to really amp up the vintage feel. It's a neat way to revisit the game with a totally fresh aesthetic.

To get your hands on this mode, you'll need to head to World 3. Once you're in the hub area, look for a turtle chilling on the docks. This is your guy! He'll chat with you about pacifism and give you a pretty big hint: a special bonus awaits if you can clear all the platforming levels without taking down any enemies.

So, here's your mission: you need to play through all six platforming stages in Cuphead. These are:

• Funfair Fever
• Funhouse Frazzle
• Perilous Piers
• Rugged Ridge

The trick is to complete each of these levels without shooting a single enemy. If you manage to pull this off, you'll notice that the flag you raise at the end of the level will have a 'P' on it. Once you've done this for all six levels, head back to that friendly turtle in the World 3 hub. He'll then unlock the Black and White mode for you!
