Hey there! So, you've been diving into Cuphead and maybe you're looking for a little something extra, right? Well, this guide is all about unlocking a super cool secret mode that'll give your game that authentic 1930s cartoon vibe. It's a neat way to replay the game and appreciate its incredible art style even more. We'll walk you through exactly what you need to do to find it, so stick around!

This secret mode essentially strips the game down to its black and white roots, just like those old cartoons it's inspired by. On top of that, you'll get access to some awesome audio filters that really amp up the vintage feel. It’s a fantastic way to experience Cuphead from a whole new perspective.

Finding the Turtle and the Pacifist Challenge

Your first stop for unlocking this mode is in World 3. Make your way to the docks, and you'll find a friendly turtle chilling there. This is the NPC you need to talk to. Yep, you heard that right – pacifist runs!

  1. Forest Follies
  2. Treetop Trouble
  3. Funfair Fever
  4. Funhouse Frazzle
  5. Perilous Piers
  6. Rugged Ridge

When you successfully complete one of these levels in this pacifist style, you'll notice the flag you raise at the end will have a 'P' on it. Keep this up for all six stages! Once you've managed to get that 'P' on all of them, head back to that turtle in the World 3 hub. Talk to him again, and he'll unlock the awesome Black and White mode for you!

Don't Forget the Fork!

But wait, there's more! While you're exploring, make sure you also have a chat with the dapper fork wearing a monocle. You'll find him hanging out near the world's shop. He's on the lookout for
