Brock's Safe Key Location

Stuck on finding Brock's Safe Key in Dead Island 2? Follow our guide to defeat the Crusher in the Goat Pen pool and unlock your reward.

Alright, so you've wrapped up the Hotel Halperin mission and made your way back to Bel-Air. Things are a bit more hectic in the Goat Pen area now, especially around the swimming pool. You'll notice there are way more zombies than usual, and one of them is a Crusher. Yeah, that's the same type of zombie you just unlocked after taking down Becki the Bride in the hotel ballroom. It's a common trick in Dead Island 2: once you beat a boss, those tougher zombies start popping up everywhere. You probably already dealt with a Crusher in Hotel Halperin that dropped Military Supplies Keys, right?

This Crusher chilling by the Goat Pen pool is around level 7, so it'll be a bit of a challenge with your current gear. Don't be shy about luring it into the pool with you. If you've got a Volt weapon, now's the perfect time to use it for some easy damage. You can also toss your Meat Bait into the water to distract all those pesky Runners, Shamblers, and Walkers, giving you some breathing room. Once you finally take down the Crusher, it'll drop Brock's Safe Keys.

Got the keys? Awesome. Now, head inside the Goat Pen building and make your way all the way to the top floor. That's where you'll find the main office. Once you're up there, look for the solid wall of the Goat Pen building. With Brock's Safe Keys in hand, you can now loot the safe.

Inside, you'll find a blue-quality mace-like weapon, which is technically a Maim weapon. Plus, there's some cash for your trouble. The exact loot might vary a bit depending on when you decide to open it, though.
