    Start the Quest: Progress through the main story until the quest icon appears on the Venice Beach map. If it doesn't appear, try leaving the area and returning. Head to the military tower and enter by pressing the button to open the mechanical shutter on the first floor. Disarm any traps inside.

    Acquire Quest and Item: At the top of the tower, speak with W.O. Rodriguez to accept the quest. You can also check her inventory for the Cremator Hunting Rifle, which can be useful but is not essential for this quest.

    Access the Beach: Descend the tower and turn right at the bottom (facing southwest) to find a rear exit. Use the security keypad to open it, leading you to the beach.

    Ignite the Death Pits: You will find three death pits on the beach. The first is directly in front of you as you enter. You can shoot the red barrel in this pit to ignite it. The other two are located further along the beach to the southeast and southwest.
