How to Beat Becki the Bride in Dead Island 2

Alright, so you've run into Becki the Bride in Dead Island 2, huh? Don't sweat it, she's a Crusher, which means she's basically a walking tank with some nasty ground-pound moves. But like all zombies, she's got patterns, and we can totally exploit them.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Type: Crusher (high HP, high damage, knockdown ground slams).
• Weakness: Susceptible to the Volt status effect, which stuns her. Her attack animations are slow, making her dodgeable.

Phases:

1. Initial Assault: Becki will start with her basic attacks and ground slams. Smaller zombies (Shamblers and Walkers) will begin to appear.
2. Environmental Hazard: Becki will continue to attack, and more adds will spawn. The power cable becomes a key environmental tool.
3. Sustained Pressure: As Becki's health lowers, the number of adds may increase, requiring you to manage space effectively.

Strategy:

• Dodging is Key: Becki's haymakers are slow. When you see her winding up, just dodge away from the direction her arm is coming from. She doesn't turn well, so this is your best bet for avoiding damage.
• Jump the Shockwaves: Her ground slam creates shockwaves. These can knock you down, so either time a jump over them or just get out of range when you see her animation.
• Use the Environment: See that broken power cable in the back left of the room? Lure Becki over to it. Kite her around the wire to build up the Volt status effect. Once she's fully charged with Volt, she'll get stunned, giving you a great window to deal some serious damage. If you've still got that tutorial machete from Sam B, it's great for building up that Volt charge faster.
• Shuriken Toss is Your Friend: Don't forget about your Shuriken Toss! Use it whenever it's off cooldown, especially when you're up close. Each hit can deal around 250 damage, and that adds up fast, especially if you land critical hits.
• Manage Your Adds: Becki isn't alone. Shamblers and Walkers will join the party. At first, you can even use Becki's ground slams to take them out. But as the fight goes on, they'll pile up. Keep an eye on the floor space and take out some of the weaker zombies if things get too crowded.
• Health is Wealth: If you're running low on health, don't panic. There are four med packs scattered around the edges of the room. Grab them when you need to heal up.

Once you've taken down Becki the Bride, you'll notice that Crushers will start appearing more frequently throughout Hell-A. This also means you can now get those Military Supplies keys for those lockboxes, so keep an eye out!
