Follow our Dead Island 2 walkthrough for The Clean and Snatch quest. Find all four notes, defeat Obi, and claim your powerful Officer's Sword!

Alright, let's get this Lost & Found quest, 'The Clean and Snatch,' sorted out! It all kicks off when you interact with a locked box floating in the pool at Roxanne’s and Jessie Kwon’s place in Beverly Hills.

To get that box open, you'll need to track down four specific notes scattered around the area. Here’s where to find them:

OrderNoteLocation
1Parting GiftRoxanne’s & Jessie Kwon’s Pool
2Dave’s PhoneDirectly north of Roxanne’s House in the street below.
3Note for MichaelInside the emptied pool in Michael’s House. This is the first small house on the left of the main road as you enter Beverly Hills from Bel-Air. You should have visited it early in the Beverly Hills section.
4Obi noteOn the larger Beverly Hill mansion to the south of the Monarch Studios checkpoint. Watch out, the pools here are filled with acid!

Once you've snagged all four notes, you'll need to read them. They'll point you towards Obi, who hangs out at the Goat Pen. Remember that place? It's the big bowling alley you had to go through to reach Hotel Halperin, located down in the southern part of Bel-Air.

So, head back to Bel-Air and make your way to the Goat Pen. Once you've collected all the notes, Obi should spawn near the pool. You might need to clear out some zombies in the area to get his attention. After he appears, take him down. He’ll drop the key you need to open that chest back in Roxanne’s Pool in Beverly Hills. After that final fight, zip back to Beverly Hills to finally loot the chest.

Inside the chest, you'll find an Officer's Sword. This weapon scales with your level, so it can be a really strong early-game pickup if you tackle this quest around level 9 or 10. We actually recommend doing this quest once you're a good way into the main story and have unlocked fast travel. By then, you'll be encountering tougher zombie variants, and having a solid weapon like this can make a big difference. Speaking of fast travel, you unlock it in Venice Beach, near the main hub there. It makes hopping between Beverly Hills and Bel-Air a breeze, but hey, do what works best for you!
