How to Beat Dillon in Venice Beach

Alright, so you've made it to Venice Beach and it's time to face Dillon. Don't let his fiery appearance intimidate you too much – he's basically a Crusher who's had a bit too much to drink at the beach bonfire. You'll find him chilling in a gated parking lot behind some shops. That's your arena!

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Type: Inferno Crusher (Crusher on fire)
• Attacks: Ground slam (creates fiery ring, sets you on fire), heavy swings.
• Weaknesses: Like other Crushers, but with more HP. Can be lured into oil puddles for explosions. Shooting is less effective but can chip away damage.

Phases:

1. Dillon starts with his standard Crusher attacks, enhanced with fire. His ground slam will create an explosive fiery ring around him, knocking you down and setting you ablaze.
2. As you damage him, he'll perform a double slam, similar to other Crushers.
3. Throughout the fight, additional zombies (Runners and Walkers) will spawn, requiring you to manage them alongside Dillon.

Strategy:

• Manage the Adds: This is key. Dillon might be slow, but the constant stream of Runner and Walker zombies can overwhelm you. Lure them into the oil puddles near the barrels to create explosions – this helps clear them out and deals a bit of damage to Dillon. Remember, they'll keep respawning, so this is a constant juggling act.
• Use Your Curveballs: Don't forget about your Curveball items like Shuriken. They're great for chipping away at Dillon's health from a safe distance when you can't get close.
• Environmental Hazards: Those barrels and oil puddles are your friends! Use them to your advantage, but be super careful not to get caught in the blast yourself.
• Avoid the Fire: Dillon's attacks will set you on fire, causing damage over time. Try your best to dodge his slams and swings to avoid this. If you do catch fire, use a medkit or find a safe moment to let it burn out.
• Stock Up: If you're finding this fight tough, there are two medkits just outside the entrance to the boss arena. Grab them before you go in!
• Loot Smart: The additional zombies that spawn can drop some decent weapons. Keep an eye on your current weapon's condition and swap it out if it's about to break or if you find something better.
