2nd Playthrough: New Game

Ready for a New Game+ in Final Fantasy Type-0 HD? Learn how to start your second playthrough, what carries over, and the brutal Finis difficulty.

So, you've beaten the final mission and saved your game? Awesome! Now, to kick off your second playthrough, just load that save file you created. The cool thing is, almost everything you accomplished in your first run carries over. This means all those conversations you had and events you triggered? They're still there. Plus, characters you've spoken to before will now have a little tick mark above their heads. Chatting with them again won't cost you any precious Free Time, opening up more story events you might have missed.

A second playthrough also spices things up with more missions sprinkled throughout the chapters. You'll even get to make choices during the final mission of each chapter, usually marked with a (NG+) in the mission list. These choices can lead to different outcomes, so keep an eye out for them!

But wait, there's more! You also unlock Finis difficulty. This is the game's ultimate challenge, where enemies are a staggering 50 levels higher than their normal Cadet or Officer counterparts. To make things even tougher, you can only bring a single character into most missions – no backup, no reserves. You'll be going solo for the most part, which is a serious test of skill. To top it all off, every enemy enters a permanent Rage status, making them incredibly fast and powerful.
