Pre-Mission Walkthrough

Your guide to the pre-mission events in Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Chapter 8. Learn what to do before the final mission begins, including item collection and key dialogues.

Alright, so you've just finished up the last mission and returned to Akademeia. It's not exactly a welcoming sight – the place is a mess, and there are dead bodies everywhere. First things first, grab any Knowing Tags you see lying around on the ground. Once you've looted up, head over to the Fountain Courtyard. You'll run into some kind of unknown enemy there. Don't worry too much about fighting it right away; you'll get interrupted by cutscenes, and honestly, there's not much you can do. Even though it attacks, it can't actually kill you, so just hang in there until you can move freely again.

After that little encounter, you'll find a few more Knowing Tags scattered around the Fountain Courtyard and the Entrance area. When you're ready to push forward, make your way to Classroom Zero for a cutscene. After that, walk to the front of the room for another scene. Next up, you need to head to Central Command to chat with Naghi. Then, pop back to the Entrance area to talk with the Tribune, and finally, find Naghi again back at Central Command.

Now, return to Classroom Zero and find Queen. She'll lead you to the Altocrystarium for yet another cutscene. Once that's done, head back to the Entrance area. You'll see Celestia chilling near the exit to the Fountain Courtyard. Give her a once-over, and after that, you'll be able to talk to her anytime to kick off the final mission.

Before you commit to heading out with Celestia, remember you've got Free Time quests available. It's a good idea to knock those out now since this is your last chance before the final story mission begins.
