Hey there, Cadet! Welcome to our guide for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. This is a pretty special entry in the Final Fantasy saga, and it's the first time this particular game has made its way out of Japan. Fun fact: it originally came out on the PSP way back in 2011, but only in Japan. Thankfully, a fan translation popped up, and then bam! E3 2014 announced it was getting a shiny HD makeover for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Don't worry, the HD version keeps the core story intact. The biggest change is that the multiplayer mode from the PSP version is gone. Any items you might have missed out on because of that are now available through other means in the game. They've also tossed in a few new goodies, like some fresh costumes for the characters, but it's mostly the same great experience.

What really sets Type-0 apart is its mature, darker story. It's brutal, emotional, and can be surprisingly heartwarming. It's the kind of narrative that sticks with you, and we really hope you'll enjoy it as much as we did playing it and putting this guide together for you.
