Complete the Zenos duty in final fantasy xiv endwalker. Learn mechanics like Tidal Wave, Judgement Bolt, and Hellfire. Item Level sync is 550.
Walkthrough
- 1Enter The Dead Ends duty.
- 2Enter The Final Day duty via the Duty Finder.
- 3Defeat Zenos viator Galvus. This is a Level 90 duty with an Item Level sync of 550.
- 4You will start the fight with the Spark of Hope buff, which empowers you with six last stands to survive unavoidable KOs. You will need at least 3 of these.
- 5Dodge Zenos's Tidal Wave by using Arms Length or running to the far right to avoid being knocked into pools.
- 6Evade the moderate damage circle AoE of Judgement Bolt.
- 7Prepare for Hellfire, an unavoidable, high damage full arena spell.
- 8Mitigate the damage from Akh Morn, a series of 6 low damage beams, with barriers or defensive cooldowns.
- 9After Zenos casts Come Hither, dodge Star Beyond Stars by moving to the outside edge of the circle AoE first, then avoiding the fan-shaped attack.
- 10Listen for Zenos's shout and dodge his powerful frontal attack, Mine for the taking, by moving to the side or rear. The ground marker appears as he attacks.
- 11When Zenos's avatar casts Nine Nights, stand on an outer circle and move towards the middle after the first AoE resolves to avoid the clockwise pattern of circle AoEs.
- 12Listen for Zenos's shout and quickly move out of the orange circle AoE that appears directly below you. He will do this twice in a row.
- 13Dodge Zenos's Exoflare, a donut-shaped AoE, by staying in the inner safe circle or on the outer edge while avoiding the arrow-indicated flame explosions. Be prepared for another Mine for the taking attack immediately after.
- 14During Diamond Dust, which turns the platform to ice, skate in a fixed line to safety. You must combine this with dodging Star Beyond Stars.
- 15Turn your back to the avatar to avoid Dead Gaze, indicated by a glowing red eye, after the second Star Beyond Stars resolves.
Tips
- The Spark of Hope buff provides 6 last stands, with 3 being necessary to survive unavoidable attacks.
- Pay attention to Zenos's shouts for attacks like Mine for the taking and the quick circle AoE, as ground markers may not appear until the attack resolves.
- For Nine Nights, the center is safe after the initial AoE resolves.
- When Diamond Dust is active, movement is restricted to skating in a straight line.
