Follow our step-by-step guide to complete the Heart of the Matter quest in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, including defeating Loporrits and speaking with key NPCs.
Walkthrough
- 1Speak with Growingway: Head to Mare Lamentorum (X:28.8 Y:9). The nearest Aetheryte is Bestways Burrow. Make your way up the big staircase and around to find Growingway chilling at coordinates (X: 25.1 Y: 9.0 Z: -0.5). A cutscene will play out.
- 2Defeat the Loporrits: Get ready for a fight! You'll face two waves of three Loporrits each, followed by Growingway himself. Just focus on taking them down one by one.
- 3Speak with Y’shtola: After the battle, wander around the top level and go through the giant gates. You'll find Y'shtola near the main entrance. Chat with her to trigger another cutscene.
- 4Speak with Urianger: Once that's done, find Urianger. Talking to him will complete the quest.
Tips
- Growingway is located at the very top level of the area.
- Y'shtola is just outside the main entrance, so don't miss her!
You'll snag 475,200 EXP, 1,005 Gil, and an Aether Current upon completion.
