Face down the lykaon and its fireballs: This is where things get a little more active. You'll need to deal with a lykaon and some fireballs. The objective is to defeat 3 of these Fire Aethers. Keep an eye out, as two more will spawn during this part.

Stand in front of the lykaon and keep its attention: Once you've dealt with the initial spawns, you'll have a specific task: stand in front of the lykaon and make sure it keeps its attention on you. This is a classic tank-and-spank or aggro-management moment, so be ready to hold its gaze.

Speak with Emet-Selch: Finally, after you've handled the lykaon, you'll need to speak with Emet-Selch. He's usually nearby after these encounters. Chatting with him will wrap up the quest.
