Shura is a pretty interesting character you can recruit in Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest. He's the leader of a thief group, and he's got a bit of a backstory involving a sacked city and training as a ninja. Apparently, he's also great at long-distance swimming, which is… a niche skill, but hey, it's something!

When you meet him, he's an Outlaw, and he can branch out into Ninja or Fighter classes. Later, his Outlaw class upgrades into Adventurer, which is how you'll likely find him. He also has access to two other unique advanced classes, giving him a lot of flexibility in terms of skills and build.

However, there's a catch. Shura's stat growths are pretty heavily moderated. None of his growth rates are above 40%, meaning he'll generally have lower stats compared to other units, especially if you've been developing your army for a while. While being an Adventurer is useful because he can heal himself and still fight, he joins pretty late in the game. You'll need to weigh whether his unique skills and potential are worth the investment when you already have a strong, established team.
