Keaton is a unique unit in Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest, hailing from Nohr's Mount Garou. He's described as cheerful, sociable, and a bit dim-witted, with a peculiar fondness for large insects and dust bunnies. He's easily the most distractible member of your army, but don't let that fool you – he can be a powerhouse on the battlefield.

As a Wolfskin, Keaton's primary strength lies in his incredible durability and offensive power against melee enemies. He's like a slow-moving, but incredibly tough, glacier. While he doesn't boast high speed and struggles to double-attack, any enemy foolish enough to engage him in close combat will find themselves taking minimal damage while Keaton dishes out heavy hits. His Beaststone usage is also a major advantage, as it bypasses the weapon triangle, and his innate skill, Beastbane, allows him to deal super-effective damage against other beast units.

However, Keaton does have some limitations, especially when you consider reclassing him. His reliance on Beaststones means he'll start with an E rank in most other weapon types. This can make gaining experience difficult if you try to switch him to a different class, as low-ranked weapons are generally weak. For Conquest, where resources can be tight, this might be a concern. But don't worry too much! Even with these limitations, Keaton's inherent Wolfskin and Wolfssegner skills, particularly Better Odds, are more than enough to keep him relevant and effective throughout the game.
