- 1End Security Lockdown: Upon entering the fort, eliminate the Banished forces, including Brutes, Jackals, and Grunts. Utilize blast coils for area-of-effect damage. Deal with the plasma cannon by destroying it or killing its operators. Use AI Scan to locate the structure with the control terminal. Ascend to its roof and proceed down a ramp inside to reach the terminal. Defeat the few Banished enemies within to end the lockdown and trigger the next objective.
- 2Expose Array Power Cells: Enter the main structure located beneath the horn. Clear out the Banished enemies inside, including those manning two ceiling-mounted defensive guns. To disable these guns, destroy the cooling pylon at the back of the structure or shoot the guns directly with powerful weapons. Once the area is clear, interact with the terminal to expose the array power cells.
- 3Destroy Exposed Power Cells: With the power cells exposed, use your Grappleshot to ascend to the top of the Horn of Abolition. Shoot and destroy all four exposed power cells. Expect reinforcements, but they will consist of familiar enemy types. Completing this objective will finish the outpost tasks.

- Banished Audio Log 1: Found inside the structure where you ended the security lockdown.
- Banished Audio Log 2: Located at the back of the structure where you interacted with the terminal to expose the power cells.
- Spartan Core: Found in the ruins of a ship outside the main fort.
- UNSC Audio Log 1: Situated on a hill southeast of the main fort.
- UNSC Audio Log 2: Found on the road northeast of the fort.
