How to Defeat En'Geddon: To Engeddon

Learn how to defeat En'Geddon, a Chieftain Brute with a powerful Rushdown Hammer, in Halo Infinite. Includes strategies and tips for this challenging boss fight.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• En'Geddon wields the Rushdown Hammer, which increases his run speed and jump height.
• He has no ranged attacks, making him vulnerable when you can maintain distance.
• His helmet can be shot off to expose him for a one-hit headshot kill.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Clear Additional Enemies
   En'Geddon is accompanied by other Banished enemies. You can either pick them off individually or use an AV-49 Wasp to eliminate them from above. Be wary of vehicle-disabling weapons like the Disruptor and Shock Rifle.
2. Phase 2: Engage En'Geddon
   Once the additional enemies are dealt with, focus on En'Geddon. If using the Wasp, you can shoot him from above. If fighting on foot, continuously move to avoid his relentless hammer attacks. Use the Grappleshot or Thruster for quick evasive maneuvers.

Strategy:

• Using the AV-49 Wasp: Summon a Wasp (requires ~2,600 Valor) at a FOB. Fly above En'Geddon's patrol area and use missiles and machine gun fire to eliminate all enemies, including En'Geddon himself. This is the safest and easiest method.
• Fighting on Foot: If you choose to fight on foot, kite En'Geddon around the environment, using obstacles and trees for cover. Use the Grappleshot to quickly escape his melee range. While kiting, periodically turn to shoot his energy shield.
• Damage Output: Once his shield is down, use high-damage weapons like the Sentinel Beam or Cindershot for massive damage, or rapid-fire weapons like the MA40 AR for sustained damage, especially with headshots.
• Headshots: Repeatedly shooting En'Geddon in the head will remove his helmet, leaving him vulnerable to a one-shot headshot kill.
