Walkthrough

Upon starting the fourth mission, Recovery, you will arrive at a small island with several high-value targets. Okro Vagaduun is one of them, located southwest of FOB Golf.

Before engaging Okro Vagaduun, eliminate the surrounding Grunts, Jackals, and Elites. You can do this effectively from a nearby hill using a Stalker Rifle or another long-range weapon.

Once Okro Vagaduun is the only enemy remaining, you have two main options to defeat him.

Option 1: Use your grappleshot to reach the top of one of the hexagon pillars. This position will prevent Okro Vagaduun from instantly killing you with his Energy Sword.

Option 2: Go to the center of the area and steal his Duelist Energy Sword. Be aware that this makes him invisible and he also wields an Energy Sword, giving him a significant advantage.

Tips

Okro Vagaduun is known to carry a modified Energy Sword.
He was considered one of the most lethal infantry assets in the Covenant and was granted the title Blademaster.
Stealing his Duelist Energy Sword allows you to defeat him in one or two shots, but comes with the risk of him being invisible and wielding his own Energy Sword.
