Alright, let's get this Fob Echo captured in Halo Infinite. This is pretty straightforward once you know the drill. First things first, you'll need to have started the main mission called 'Excavation Site'.

Once that's rolling, make your way to the island located northeast of The Tower. You can get there by crossing the bridge. When you arrive, your main job is to clear out all the Banished baddies hanging around. You'll be facing off against Brutes, Jackals, and Grunts. You've got a couple of options here: you can find a nice perch on a nearby hill and pick them off from a distance with a BR75, or you can drop right into the thick of it and use a shotgun to end things quickly.

Pro-Tip: If you've managed to upgrade your Grappleshot with the Voltaic mod, you can shoot it at the Brutes. This will stun them for a bit, giving you a much-needed opening to deal with them or the other enemies.

After you've dealt with all the enemies, head to the center of the platform. You'll see a control panel there. Interact with it to capture the Forward Operating Base. Once it's yours, keep an eye out for a yellow container – that's where you'll find the UNSC Audio Log. Grab it and you're all set with Fob Echo!

Why capture FOBs? Remember, controlling these Forward Operating Bases is super important. They reveal enemy and UNSC activity in the area, act as fast travel points, and let you call in Marine fire support. Plus, you get access to vehicle drops and special weapon variants.
