The Heatwave is a new semi-automatic Shotgun in Halo Infinite, replacing the Scattershot from previous titles. While it has a lower damage output compared to the CQS48 Bulldog, its unique ability to ricochet bullets off walls offers strategic advantages.

Weaknesses of the Heatwave:

• Low Damage Output: It's best used to finish off weakened enemies, often in conjunction with a weapon like the BR75 - Precision Rifle.
• Close Quarters Focus: The weapon is most effective at close range. Firing from a distance results in most bullets missing the target due to ricocheting.
• Limited Ammunition: With only 16 bullets available, it's advisable to have a secondary weapon ready.
