How to Defeat Chak 'Lok

Alright, so you’ve made it to the top of the tower and you’re ready to face Chak 'Lok. He’s a tough Elite Brute with an Energy Sword and he loves to go invisible. Don't sweat it, though – we'll get you through this.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Chak 'Lok wields an Energy Sword and uses Active Camo (cloaking).
• His energy shield is very strong and regenerates if you give him space.
• Kinetic weapons damage his health but are less effective against his shield.
• Energy weapons are key to burning through his shield quickly.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Shield Burn
   As soon as the fight starts, grab the Ravager from the weapon rack if you don't already have a good energy weapon. Its charged shot does massive damage to his shield. Keep firing with the Ravager's standard mode to deplete his shield as fast as possible. If he tries to retreat, toss a grenade to keep the pressure on and prevent shield regeneration.
2. Phase 2: Health Damage
   Once his shield is down, switch to kinetic weapons like the CQS48 Bulldog Shotgun. These will shred his health bar. Stay close to your Threat Sensor to keep tabs on him, especially when he cloaks.
3. Phase 3: Melee Defense
   Chak 'Lok's Energy Sword is deadly up close. If he gets too near, use your own melee attack to briefly stun him. This gives you just enough time to back away and create some distance to re-engage with your weapons.

Strategy:

• Use the Threat Sensor constantly to track Chak 'Lok when he cloaks. It has a decent radius, so keep it active.
• Prioritize energy weapons like the Ravager to break his shield.
• Once the shield is down, switch to powerful kinetic weapons like the Shotgun to finish his health.
• Avoid prolonged melee engagements; his sword will cut you down. Use your melee to create space if he closes the distance.
• Keep moving around the torture room to avoid his attacks and maintain advantageous positioning.
• Defeating Chak 'Lok will unlock the 'Fallen' achievement.
