Learn the ins and outs of Halo Infinite's Fracture: Tenrai Slayer Fiesta game mode. Discover weapon strategies and tips to dominate the battlefield and complete event challenges.

Slayer is a game mode where one team must reach 50 points to win, or have the highest score when the timer expires. Each kill awards a point. In Ranked Slayer, killing teammates or yourself results in a point deduction.

Fiesta Slayer follows Quick Play Slayer rules but with randomized starting weapons and equipment. If you dislike your initial loadout, you can pick up weapons from fallen teammates or enemies. This mode is excellent for practicing unfamiliar weapons and progressing through Fracture: Tenrai Event Challenges for exclusive rewards.

Fiesta Slayer is available on all Quick Play maps: Aquarius, Recharge, Live Fire, Launch Site, Behemoth, Bazaar, and Streets.

Fiesta Slayer assigns two random weapons upon spawning. Here’s how to best utilize some of the more challenging ones:

Skewer

The Skewer is a sniper rifle that can instantly eliminate enemies and vehicles. It requires precise aim. If you spawn with it, find a safe vantage point and line up shots while your teammates engage the enemy.

Shock Rifle

The Shock Rifle is another sniper rifle that may take some practice. Unlike the Skewer, it's lighter and allows for more mobility. A headshot can instantly kill an opponent. If you struggle with close-quarters aiming, use its 5-10x scope from a distance.

Heatwave

The Heatwave is a shotgun-type weapon that fires ricocheting bullets. It has two firing modes: Vertical and Horizontal, toggled by pressing LT. Horizontal mode spreads bullets for multi-enemy engagement, while Vertical mode is effective against single targets.

Sentinel Beam

The Sentinel Beam is a particle beam weapon with high damage but significant recoil. Its battery life is limited, so ensure your secondary weapon is ready. Aim for the body and let the recoil guide your aim towards the head.

Cindershot

The Cindershot is a grenade launcher that fires bouncing grenades. Aim for the chest to ensure direct hits and avoid self-damage by maintaining a safe distance from the explosion.

Energy Sword

The Energy Sword is a one-handed weapon that provides about seven one-shot kills per charge. To use it effectively, approach enemies in a zig-zag pattern to avoid headshots. Press RT when close to the enemy to lunge.

Gravity Hammer

The Gravity Hammer is a two-handed weapon capable of one-shot kills, similar to the Energy Sword, but it's slower and requires precise timing. Its area of effect is a cone in front of you. If you're not close enough, you'll only damage the opponent, leaving you vulnerable. Its weight also slows movement, making it harder to close the distance. Practicing with the Gravity Hammer in custom games is recommended to master its speed and range.
