He's a Jiralhanae officer and likes to pack a modified Mangler, so he's not to be underestimated.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Balkarus: Jiralhanae Officer, carries a modified Mangler.
• Weakness: Shields are vulnerable to Plasma damage. Shotguns are effective for finishing him off.

Phases:

1. Initial Engagement: You'll arrive to find Balkarus surrounded by a mix of Grunts, Brutes, Elites, and Jackals.
2. One-on-One: Once the surrounding enemies are dealt with, you'll face Balkarus directly.

Strategy:

• When you first get to Balkarus's location, don't just rush him. He's got backup, and they can make your life difficult. Use the cover available in the area to your advantage.
