Walkthrough

    Rescuing Charles:
    1. Inspect the files on the whiteboard to find 'The End (5/8) | Robot Puppets'.

    Interact with the large life support device and then the computer. Read all files, especially the diagram on the far right.

    Interact with the chain console control panel. Adjust the lamps to match the diagram: press the purple/orange button twice, the yellow/green button once, and the blue button twice.

    Descend the stairs into the Secret Corridor. Examine the courier clothes if desired.

    Enter the doorway at the far left. Examine the diary and then the Beta Type Consciousness Transmission Device to find 'The End (6/8) | The Research Information of Consciousness Transmission Device'.

    Speak with Charles. Grab the Crowbar from the far right of the room.

    Use the Crowbar on Charles's holding cell door. After the scene, you will unlock the The Story of Rescuing the White Mustache Trophy/Achievement.
  • Decision Time:
    1. You will be presented with two questions. The first choice has no impact, but the second choice determines which of two Achievements you unlock.
    2. To unlock 'The Liberation' Trophy/Achievement: Choose to "Turn off the equipment." This choice also unlocks the 'The End (7/8) | The History Between Edward and Luna' File.
    3. To unlock 'The Benevolence' Trophy/Achievement: Choose to "Leave the equipment on." Note that this choice prevents you from unlocking a specific endgame File.
    4. Reloading an earlier save file (labeled "Inside a secret room") is required to unlock the other Achievement.

    1. Regardless of your choice, head back down to the secret room where you rescued Charles. There is no turning back once you descend the stairs.
