Rescuing Charles:
1. Inspect files on the whiteboard to find 'The End (5/8) - Robot Puppets'.

Interact with the large life support device and then the computer. Read all files, noting the diagram for a code.

Interact with the chain console control panel. Adjust the colored lamps to match the computer diagram: purple/orange button twice, yellow/green button once, blue button twice.

Descend the stairs into the Secret Corridor.

Examine the diary and the Beta Type Consciousness Transmission Device for 'The End (6/8) - The Research Information of Consciousness Transmission Device'.

Speak with Charles. Obtain the Crowbar from the far right of the room.

Use the Crowbar on Charles's holding cell door to unlock the 'The Story of Rescuing the White Mustache' Achievement.

Decision Time:

After rescuing Charles, you'll face two questions. The first answer is irrelevant. The second choice determines which of two Achievements you unlock.
To unlock 'The Liberation' Achievement and 'The End (7/8) - The History Between Edward and Luna' File: Choose to "Turn off the equipment."
To unlock 'The Benevolence' Achievement: Choose to "Leave the equipment on." (Note: This choice prevents unlocking the aforementioned File).
Reloading an earlier save (labeled "Inside a secret room") is required to unlock both Achievements in one playthrough.

The Final Confrontation: Return to the secret room where Charles was rescued. There is no turning back after descending the stairs.
