It details the location and acquisition of three missable Image & Text Files and three Achievements. Walkthrough

    Rescuing Charles:
    1. Inspect the files on the whiteboard near the entrance to find 'The End (5/8) - Robot Puppets'.

    Interact with the large life support device and then the computer to its right. Read all files on the PC desktop, especially the diagram on the far right, which is a clue for a code.

    Return to the far left of the lab and interact with the chain console control panel. Adjust the height of the colored lamps to match the diagram from the computer. The correct sequence is: press the purple/orange button twice, the yellow/green button once, and the blue button twice. The order does not matter.

    A set of stairs will appear. Head down into the Secret Corridor.

    Enter the doorway at the far left end of the hall into another secret room.

    Examine the diary to the right of the doorway.

    Head left and inspect the Beta Type Consciousness Transmission Device to find 'The End (6/8) - The Research Information of Consciousness Transmission Device'.

    Continue left and speak with Charles.

    Head to the right of the room, grab the Crowbar at the far right end.

    Return to Charles and use the Crowbar on the holding cell door. After a scene, you will unlock the 'The Story of Rescuing the White Mustache' Trophy/Achievement.
  • Decision Time:
    1. You will be presented with two questions. The first answer has no impact. The second choice determines which of two Achievements you will unlock. You cannot unlock both without reloading a save file. One of the new endgame Files is also tied to this choice.
    2. Turn it off: Choosing to 'Turn off the equipment' unlocks 'The Liberation' Trophy/Achievement and the 'The End (7/8) - The History Between Edward and Luna' File. You can then skip to 'The Final Confrontation'.
    3. Keep it on: Choosing to 'Leave the equipment on' unlocks 'The Benevolence' Trophy/Achievement. You will NOT be able to unlock one of the new endgame Files. You can then skip to 'The Final Confrontation'.
  • The Final Confrontation:
    1. Regardless of your choice, head back down to the secret room where you rescued Charles. There is no turning back once you descend the stairs.

    • Remember that the diagram on the computer is crucial for solving the chain console puzzle.
    • The choice in 'Decision Time' affects which Achievements and Files you can acquire in a single playthrough. Reloading a save is necessary to obtain everything.
    • Three missable Image & Text Files: 'The End (5/8) - Robot Puppets', 'The End (6/8) - The Research Information of Consciousness Transmission Device', and 'The End (7/8) - The History Between Edward and Luna' (missable if you choose to leave the equipment on).
